Facilities

A wonderful well appointed, but homely house. We had the most thoroughly enjoyable week! We enjoyed the holiday and the accommodation so much we have just rebooked for next year. Apps - August 2018
Thanks Catherine. We had a wonderful time at the house. Acree - August 2018
We had the most fabulous week at Ffynnon Gron, we loved everything about it – the four families had our 15 to 19 year olds with us who said it was one of their best holidays ever - most of them are fairly well travelled so that says it all!! Thank you so much and feedback form attached. Curran - August 2018
16 of us (4 generations) 6 months to 91 years old had a fab time in your great friendly house Thank you!Peacock - August 2018
A lovely house for 14 of us including a baby, great views and garden too. We had a lovely time in Pembrokeshire and will be returning in the future. Gregory - August 2018
We previously visited in 2011 and the property was as we expected and wonderfully presented. A visit from the hawk man is a must. He was particularly good with the children. We would like to thank you for your wonderful care and attention. Warry August 2017
The house was everything we were expecting and more. It was cleaned to an excellent standard. Great quality linen and towels. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we had everything we needed, although a new tin opener would have been welcomed. Yes, we would stay again and recommend to others to read the excellent Information pack provided for great information of places to visit and how everything works in the house. Whitwell - August 2017
Yes, we had a great time at Ffynnon Gron thank you. It is a lovely property and since we were two families plenty of space to spread out!   Farrow- August 2018
Great accommodation in a lovely location – the games room kept both the children and adults amused and away from TV most nights. We needed for very little except the communal hand towels were a little worn and a wider selection of necessities would have been helpful. The comments above are very small things, overall the place was great, we had a lovely time. We would recommend this to any large group looking to holiday in Wales, its lovely and peaceful. We tend to try new places each year but would definitely stay again.   Broad - August 2017
Fynnon Gron is the perfect place for family get togethers - our 11 grandchildren had the most brilliant time playing in this wonderful house with its fantastic garden and grounds. Everybody had an amazing time and there were tears on the last day. We are definitely going to return for a 3rd visit without any hesitation Thank you! Coopey August 2016
We had a fantastic stay.  The property certainly lives up to it's advertising and beyond.  We were very comfortable and it is big enough for everyone to get together comfortably, but also be able to find space for some quiet time.  It is the perfect space for large groups to stay and in a beautiful area too. It is a very comfortable, spacious base for visiting all that the area has to offer. Many places that boast the sleeping space do not offer the living space to back it up, but Ffynnon Gron does. It would be a fantastic place for a Christmas/New Year get together. Great advertising, everything was as described, cleanliness, beds, kitchen etc…. Field - August 2016
We had a fabulous holiday staying at Ffynnon Gron, thank you so much! Great everything, I’m a poor sleeper but slept extremely well over the holiday. The towels and linen were luxurious. The welcome pack was thoughtfully selected and much appreciated. A stay with you provides something special, we would definitely love to come back! Rachel Lohan - August 2016
Everything was great! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at your beautiful house. Such a peaceful location only the rooks to shatter the silence.......cattle we are used to, we would love to stay again. You have equipped the house to a very high standard. My daughter had brought her kitchen mixer with her and was astounded to find you had one installed already. Pepper - August 2016

We had a fantastic time at Ffynnon Gron thank you. An amazing house enjoyed by all. The farmer next door let the kids go to watch the cows being milked & they also enjoyed watching the cows go in & out. Pulham - August 2015
The welcome pack was very informative (the best we have seen in 15+ years of family holidays of this type). Also, the on-site contact (I think it was Tony and his wife) were extremely friendly and helpful, visiting after we arrived to provide a cot and answer any questions. You have a lovely house in a great location to see the many sights and places to visit that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Absolutely visit again for a 3rd time Biggs - August 2015
Ffynnon Gron is a beautifully restored Welsh farmhouse, with ample room for our family of 14 - only a very small comment, that we are a very tall family, girls 5'9" and men 6'4" so we had a couple of head bangs!  Otherwise it was superb accommodation, a huge dining room, which was beautifully set out when we arrived, and a breakfast room with a large television, and also a very well equipped games room and further drawing room, again with large TV.   The surrounding area is very beautiful and countrified, great walking country.  St David's is near and well worth a visit - a wonderful cathedral.  We were extremely well looked after by the couple in charge of the house, and even had a welcome tea and cakes and also a basket of lovely organic vegetables which was most unexpected. Can highly recommend to anybody lucky enough to stay there. Primrose Drake - August 2015
great big yes – it looked good and it was good! Thanks, we had a great week. The house was fantastic and we will certainly fill out the feedback form.Buckle - August 2014
We had a fabulous time at Ffynnon Gron. It is a fabulous property, and you have been very generous in equipping it well - this made the holiday special!Rohit Shah - August 2013
A wonderful place to visit. Quality facilities in beautiful surroundings. A delicious meal prepared for you when you arrive – everything is very well conceived for your visit. The Walk with the Hawks went down really well with kids and adults alike and we were also lucky enough to be invited by the farmer next door to see the milking process and feed their donkeys. Very friendly & hospitable locals indeed.Anna Czura - August 2013
Just to say we had an absolute ball at Ffynnon Gron, the accommodation far outperformed our expectations and the photos online don't do the house justice- it was fab and the furnishings were welcome to both adults and kids alike.... The kids loved the grounds and we all enjoyed the games room. Thanks for a fab stay.... When we can muster the energy for another group holiday ( I think the kids totally wore us out with their endless enthusiasm and desire to run around) we would certainly consider booking with you again. Kate Pope - August 2012
You have a very special property there in Ffynnon Gron, something that goes way beyond the many attributes of the house, quality bedrooms, bathrooms en suite, games room and TV room with wood burning fireplace, to name but a few. You somehow feel when you come home from a day out exploring that you are truly home. There's an indescribable warmth that the house gives off, I hope that other visitors to Wales are able to experience this. The whole family, from my 86 year old mother to my 10 year old nephew enjoyed every day, rain or shine. ( and we had our fair share of both). There was something within driving distance ( 40 mins max) for everybody, history, "St David's Cathedral", sports, "coastering" ( try to get Nick as the guide), kids, "tree tops." The week was over all too quickly, next time we will have to stay longer! Looking forward to our next visit. Greg Masterson - August 2012
We all had a wonderful time at Ffynnon Gron, the house was perfect for all our needs and didn't we have great weather to enjoy the beaches and the area! Maureen Coleman - August 2012
Just a quick note to say that we had a wonderful stay in your house and thought it was perfect for our large family group and very comfortable. Katharine Field - August 2012
We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in Ffynnon Gron. It is a beautiful house with great facilities. The grounds too were enjoyed by all and were beautifully kept. We also used your recommended chef Guy Morris. The evening meal he prepared for us was excellent and he is a very pleasant man to have around in the kitchen. It was a memorable week!Pat Morton - August 2010
