Facilities

Ffynnon Gron is a lovely spacious house with Georgian proportions and plenty of room for 16 guests without feeling at all crowded.

The living areas consist of a warm and welcoming lounge with wood burner, large sofas and comfortable fireside chairs. The separate dining room, directly adjacent to the kitchen, has a huge table that sits sixteen for formal or informal dining. The farmouse kitcnen is very well equipped and is where everybody gathers for breakfast and makes their plans for the day ahead. It has a smaller refectory table and benches by the AGA for children’s meals or cosier eating and there is an open plan sofa corner area. The large games room is popular with all ages, whatever the weather. There is table tennis, table footie and snooker to enjoy or rediscover. There is also a small quiet study ....just in case you have to do some work. All the rooms except the dining-room and study have wide-screen TVs and internet access.

In the garden there are seats and benches hidden away or right outside the door, providing yet more space for all to enjoy. There is enough grass for games of cricket or 5-a-side footie and a smooth-enough lawn for croquet. An Australian gas BBQ is set in the sun-warmed patio area for adventurous cooking, with tables and benches for everyone. A hidden “pavilion” is a lovely place for a quiet coffee or to read a book. There is even a rocking chair in the open porch for smokers* ... (or non-smokers) ... to enjoy some peace and quiet and the view.

There are eight beautiful bedrooms (five doubles and three twins) and six luxury bath/shower rooms, three of which are en-suite.

* no smoking anywhere in the house, of course!
